R.I.P. The Volvo

So.....I had to say goodbye to my very first car today. Forever.
We ended up having to donate it because no one would buy it. Yes, it is a piece of shit car (one of the outside door handles magically disappeared, you can't turn on any light inside of the car, the coverless glove compartment is rubber banded shut........I could go on) and it's totally understandable that no one would pay good money to buy. But it did me good over the past 5 years. I never once got it in an accident or wreck (and even if I did, it probably wouldn't even dent) and I made plenty of memories in that car. Oh, and it just drives so well.
But change is good, we have to let things go, and with just a few tears I saw my car being towed away forever.

R.I.P. The Volvo
2004-2009 (years owned....it's definitely not a 2004. Try 1992.)

I want to do more extreme things

Like that. Arons & Gelauff Architects have created this 30 meter building that features a climbing wall with 2500 grips and, according to the architects, it is the second highest one in the Netherlands.

If I had the balls (and skills), I would want to do this too.

DAYTUM

For those of you who enjoy datifying your life and making lists (that sort of thing), I have found the website for you.
"DAYTUM is a home for collecting and communicating your daily data. Begin tracking anything you can count and display the results immediately"
Pretty interesting concept. For a second or two I thought it would be fun to do....but then I realized that I'm not at all that kind of person. I would keep it up for 2 days and then completely forget about it.
Anyways, go check it out. You can at least look at the other people who are meticulous enough to turn their life into data.
